Coldfusion 8, Released!

know this sounds old but, I have got to blog about this, since Coldfusion is one of my favorite Server side language I will boast about it here with it’s new features.
The beta version of Coldfusion was release during May 2007 but not until recently the final version was released to the public. Coldfusion is available in two sets, one will be priced at $ 1, 299 for the standard Server Edition and a wooping $ 7, 244 for two (2) CPU license.
The most significant release include in this version was the ability to use pre built AJAX codes into your own Coldfusion Application, as well as the capability to monitor bottleneck areas in the application.
I guess that all those "Coldfusion is about to die"  crap did not really affect them at all, yep Coldfusion might be expensive but think about it’s benefits over Open source software, I am not bashing the OS market here, I am just clearly sticking to my point that Coldfusion is one of the premier Web application language available, hope all these hatred towards Coldfusion will subside…
